Who owns our quote data?
You do. Emuri does not sell customer data, use quote contents for advertising, or use your estimating data to train AI models.
Manufacturing cost estimating
Emura is a cost estimator for manufacturers that need a precise, comprehensive cost model.
Our mission is to create the most accurate, fastest, and easiest cost estimating software for manufacturers. If your cost model makes it hard to compete confidently on your biggest opportunities, or you are ready to move beyond spreadsheets and third-party programs that do not provide the granularity, precision, and transparency you need, Emura was built for you.
No account or email required until you are ready to save an estimate. Create an account, save your estimates, and go live today — no sales call or implementation project required.

See the cost categories that matter most, from material to risk.
The customer wants pricing at five annual volumes. Each volume changes lot size, setup allocation, equipment recovery, NRE amortization, and raw material costs. You should not need multiple versions of the same spreadsheet to answer one RFQ.
How Emura helps: Emura applies setup and run costs to each lot size, and uses the appropriate material-cost tier at each volume break in the quote.
One RFQ may include a dozen part numbers that share the same setup, equipment, engineering effort, or production line. Those costs should not have to be allocated by hand or copied between spreadsheets.
How Emura helps: Emura is built for product families where materials, lot sizes, and annual volumes vary by SKU. It automatically gives each finished good the appropriate share of shared cost.
Some manufacturers use a "low-volume" cost model and a "high-volume" cost model. Or a "strategic" cost model and a "non-strategic" model. This makes it impossible to compare or aggregate estimates across models.
How Emura helps: Emura puts the cost data into a consistent format, making the assumptions and pricing rationale easier for the rest of the team to follow.
Setup, rework, risk, engineering support, equipment, and other costs often get packed into one burdened labor rate because there is nowhere else to put them. That may make a small opportunity appear more competitive, but the same inflated rate can price you out as volume grows.
How Emura helps: Emura gives each of those costs a defined place in the estimate instead of hiding them inside labor.
Was the underlying cost too high? Was the estimate conservative? Did the volume assumptions make sense? Was margin applied appropriately?
How Emura helps: Emura helps you get your costs as accurate as possible, so you are confident in your walk-away price.
If your purchased parts have their own volume breaks, and Purchasing and Estimating are not on the same page about which break will be used, your material costs or carrying costs can vary dramatically from plan.
How Emura helps: Supplier Pricing keeps the quoted thresholds and terms together. Sourcing Plan then chooses the lowest-total-cost break and purchase quantity for every part and quote volume, using EOQ, carrying cost, and lot processing cost.
If your internal cost assumptions do not seem to align with your suppliers' quotes, the costing model may be the problem—not your true costs.
How Emura helps: Emura separates the inputs behind each cost so you can test assumptions, identify the gap, and make make-or-buy decisions from a model you can defend.
Model the full manufacturing program once, connect operations into a process flow, plan NRE by phase, and carry the same cost model into a customer-ready proposal. Reusable libraries and deliberate quote updates keep future revisions current without weakening the quote snapshot.
The live demo runs the same estimating workflows with seeded data, but changes reset on refresh. “Session only” marks features whose lasting value depends on saved quote or library history.
| Feature | Demo | Paid account |
|---|---|---|
| Available | Included | |
Model a product family once, then price every finished good across multiple volume breaks. Emura reallocates shared setup, equipment, NRE, and other scoped costs as demand and lot sizes change. | ||
| Available | Included | |
Give BOM material, direct and indirect labor, subcontracts, equipment, NRE, risk, and overhead their own defined places. The model recalculates in the browser as assumptions change. | ||
| Available | Included | |
Turn the active estimate into a branded customer document with an executive summary, customer-safe BOM, finished-good-specific process routes, phase-based startup costs, launch timeline, pricing, images, and terms. | ||
| Available | Included | |
Build customer-facing Activities from permanent-ID Tasks with their own phase, description, and internal cost. Task costs roll up automatically into recovery and pricing; the NRE Plan workbook preserves the detail and adds Activity and Phase summaries. | ||
| Available | Included | |
Emura scores confirmed supplier and quote-local tiers on total annual economic cost and chooses the best tier and Units / PO. It accounts for annual-versus-per-order pricing, EOQ, MOQ, landed value, fixed lot costs, and possible multi-year buys. | ||
| Available | Included | |
Keep the supplier decision, Units / PO, releases per year, and burdened unit cost visible while you compare quote volumes. Open Plan details for average inventory, carrying cost, safety stock, surplus treatment, salvage, and the separate external landed and internal receiving costs per lot. | ||
| Available | Included | |
Start with a quote-only Quick price or enter supplier volume tiers directly, even before EAU exists. Preserve each raw price and source while adding Country of Origin, Tariff, Landed Cost / unit, Landed Cost / lot, and Landed Cost (%). | ||
| Session only | Included | |
Maintain one current planning rate per country while every supplier offer retains its quoted tariff snapshot. When the rate changes, see every affected quote and bring one or all active quotes up to date without rewriting historical revisions. | ||
| Available | Included | |
Switch among Fully Burdened, Manufacturing, Cash, External Cost, Marginal, and Custom views. The selected view persists across the estimate and reports, explains what it includes, and never changes the fully burdened pricing basis. | ||
| Available | Included | |
Rank the annual and per-unit costs with the greatest effect, then drill into their components. Program rollups compare cost, sales, contribution, peak cash, and break-even timing across finished goods and volume breaks. | ||
| Available | Included | |
Connect operations to labor and equipment to calculate takt, effective cycle time, occupied hours, utilization, CapEx recovery, and maintenance. Scope each operation and cost to the finished goods it supports. | ||
| Session only | Included | |
Reuse confirmed material tiers, labor rates, equipment, NRE Tasks and Activities, landed-cost defaults, and manufacturing or commercial adders. Quote copies remain snapshots; deliberate library actions carry shared changes where they belong. | ||
| Session only | Included | |
When a shared part, supplier offer, tariff, labor rate, equipment cost, or costing assumption changes, Where-used and Quote Review show which saved quotes are affected. Refresh one quote or update every active quote in a few clicks; Emura records the update as a new revision and protects work that changed concurrently. Manually saved NRE library items stay outside Quote Review. | ||
| Session only | Included | |
See every saved quote and volume using a part, including whether its offer or supplier linkage differs from the managed library. Past quote terms remain available for reuse without automatically becoming sourcing authority. | ||
| Available | Site branding | |
Export a concise Customer PDF or a detailed manufacturing proposal, plus purchasing plans, summaries, cost breakdowns, operations, BOMs, the NRE Plan workbook, and quote JSON. Demo PDFs carry a demo-version footer; an account applies each site’s logo, colors, proposal heading, and terms. | ||
| Session only | Included | |
Save numbered revisions, compare snapshots field by field and by cost effect, and record named approval signatures on immutable revisions. Demo history is temporary; an account keeps the audit trail. | ||
| Not available | Included | |
Keep unlimited quotes in a searchable workspace organized by site and folder. Costs respond immediately while cloud saving and a local safety copy run separately in the background. | ||
| Not available | Included | |
Merge BOM, supplier-pricing, operations, and library data without deleting rows omitted from the file. Bulk import is intentionally unavailable in the public demo; exports remain open. | ||
| Not available | Included | |
Invite unlimited Admin, Estimator, and Viewer users, then grant access by site or folder. Each site retains its own libraries and customer-PDF branding. | ||

I built Emura because I was frustrated.
I was frustrated with feature-based pricing models that hid the real cost of the work. I was frustrated breaking down every quote so sales could understand the costs. I was frustrated with rebuilding the same estimate for every volume break. And I was frustrated that my estimating system only worked for the estimator, and not ops, engineering, purchasing, and sales, too.
Most of all, I was frustrated that risk, indirect labor, equipment, and other burden had nowhere to go except one inflated labor rate. It made the labor rate hard to defend and made the largest opportunities harder to quote as competitively as I knew we could.
So I built the solution for myself. Then I shared it with my team, tested it, learned from it, and rebuilt it around a simple mission: make manufacturing cost estimating as accurate, fast, and easy to use as I can.
By the time Emura was ready, quoting the old way no longer made sense.
