Emuri, LLC is an early-stage consulting and software venture based in Minnesota. In our software products, we are obsessed with usability—and with making the best, most efficient, most user-friendly software we can.
Emura began with a real estimating problem and is still guided by the people who do that work. The aim is not software for its own sake; it is less friction, clearer decisions, and a better cost model.
Emuri, Emura… Emuda?
Yes. We're named after the three wastes: Muri, Mura, and Muda.
Emuri
Emuri, our consulting and parent organization, takes its name from Muri: the waste of overburden. Overburdened people or machines suffer fatigue, stress, and strain, increasing the likelihood of accidents or breakdowns and reducing efficiency overall.
Emura
Emura, our quoting software, takes its name from Mura: the waste of unevenness. The concept of level, balanced manufacturing is central to Emura's costing methodology; its operations costing is built around balanced work cells.
Emuda
Emuda is a planned future product, also intended for manufacturers. It is not ready to be announced yet—which is about all we can say for now.
